Where to Find Spongetta Flowers This Summer

Updated: Jan 7, 2020

July has arrived and we are full swing into farmers market, summer events and drop in days. We have some wonderful new locations to announce.

Starting this week, we will be regularly at the Oneida County Public Market at the historic Union Station in Utica, NY every week until frost. The market hours are 9:00-1:00. If parking is a problem, send us a message so we can tell you the secret places. We will have the full array of bouquets in three sizes plus the other fun things. Harmonie is happy to help you find the perfect bouquet.

Starting on July 12th, Linda will be selling them at the Festival Farmers Market in Cobleskill on Saturdays. By August, we will have all three sizes available.

From Thursday through Saturday, our Everyday Bouquets are available in three locations in the Utica area. Stop by Kids Market in Washington Mills/New Hartford, Richfield Springs Community Food Cooperative and Wormont Woolies in Cassville. Once August hits, we will also bring them Saturdays so they are fresh all weekend.

Our drop in hours at the studio are changed to 4:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday and Friday. By popular demand, we are continuing Porch Flowers with grab and go options off the side porch both days starting at 2:00 pm. Contact us if the long steps are a challenge and we will bring the buckets to your car. I should be in the studio (will leave a note if I'm not) if you have a special request or need more choices.

Come play with our flowers! In conjunction with The Old Barn at Redrick Farm in Bridgewater, we are hosting a make your own bouquet on Monday, August 5th at 6:30. It is just $20 per person for flowers and supplies. We will talk a little about what makes a good cut flower, show you some techniques, share flower care and then you get to make your own to take home. Please bring a vase or purchase one on site. Contact Betsy at spongettasgarden@gmail.com or pay online in our Etsy store to reserve your space.

We are still taking reservations for events and make your own parties this summer into fall. Betsy will be sharing our flowers with the West Winfield Garden Club on August 28th.
